September 2002 – July 2005: Bachelor degree in Molecular Biotechnology at “Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca”. Thesis title: “Implication of microsatellite instability (MSI) in Dukes B2 colon cancer: comparison between polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and DHPLC”.
October 2005 – 18 February 2008 Master of Science in Industrial Biotechnology at “Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca”.
Thesis title: “Raw milk consumption: evaluation of exposition level to main pathogens using cultural and biomolecular methods”.

Winter 2004-2005: Stage at “Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo” for bachelor degree. Study of microsatellite instability in colon cancer through DHPLC and polyacrylamide gel.
2007: Stage at “Istituto Zooprofilattico della Lombardia e dell’Emilia Romagna” Msc thesis: study the epidemiology of E. coli O157, Salmonella spp., Listeria spp., and Campylobacter spp. in raw milk.
2009 – present: Ph.D. student at ETHZ (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich), Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences. Project “Multitrophic interaction”, supported by the Autonomous Province of Trento at the Fondazione Edmund Mach (San Michele all’Adige, Italy). Study the effect of abiotic and biotic factors on soil microbial population in vineyard fields.
